It is the policy of the Montgomery County School Board to recognize publicly at School Board meetings those students whose activities in any field or endeavor have reflected credit on themselves, their parents, the schools or the community. Citizens are encouraged to forward to the division superintendent’s office the names of students whose accomplishments warrant such recognition. The division superintendent retains discretion in deciding which awards shall be recognized at School Board meetings.
