Equipment and Personal Property
The division superintendent may designate a qualified employee to dispose of surplus school division items. The division superintendent or his/her designee shall be responsible for maintaining a written procedure using the Commonwealth of Virginia Agency Procurement and Surplus Property Manual as a model.
Disposition of equipment purchased with federal funds shall be in accordance with federal and Virginia laws and regulations.
The School Board may dispose of surplus real
property as provided by state law.
