POLICY 6-4.1 GRADE PLACEMENT
Entrance
Age 5 - A pupil who will be age five (5) on or before September 30 may enroll in the Montgomery County Public Schools and be classified as a kindergarten student.
Transfer students shall meet any
and all accreditation standards for graduation requirements. Students transferring from non-accredited
private schools or from home schooling will be assessed for grade level
placement.
